How to play this game
- Your chips are stacked in denominations of $1, $5, $25 and $100 at the rim of the table.
- Select the amount you want to wager on a given hand by clicking the left mouse button on the chip of that denomination. Likewise, you can decrease the amount wagered by right clicking the mouse on the chip of that denomination. If you want to place a bonus bet, click the circle on the table represented by 'bonus'. This places a bonus wager of $1 on the table and qualifies for the bonus payoff given in the payoff table below.
- Once the wager is placed, the player presses the 'Deal' button. The dealer deals the player seven cards face up, and himself seven cards face down. One standard deck of 52 cards plus one joker is used. Joker can be used only as an ace or as a card to complete a straight, a flush, a straight flush or a royal flush for any of the hands.
- After the player has his seven cards, he must form two hands. The low hand must contain two cards and the high hand five cards. To do this, the player must select the two cards that he wishes to be in the low hand by clicking them. Selected cards will move up out of the line of player's cards on the game screen. To unselect them, the player can click them again.
- Once the player has selected the two cards, he clicks the 'Done' button. This will arrange the high cards at the bottom area, and the low cards are moved up in the section named "Second Hand." Also, the Dealer's cards are revealed face up and arranged as a High and Low Hand. The formation of the high and low hands of the Dealer is done using the house way. We at Starluck Casino Online follow the popular "Flamingo Hilton" house rules. The Dealer's cards are now compared with the player's cards. The result is displayed at the bottom of the table, and:
- If the player's low hand and high hands both beat those of the dealer, the player wins and is paid even money less 5% of his bet deducted as dealer commission (eg, if a player bets $100, and both his hands are greater than the dealer's hands, he will win $95). A message is displayed- 'High Hand Wins, Low hand Wins, Player Wins'.
- If the player wins any one of the hands (Low hand or High Hand), but loses the other, the bet is a push and the bet is returned to the player. A message is displayed for the result.
- If both the hands of the Player are identical in strength to the Dealer, his bet is a Tie, and the player loses his bet. A message is displayed for the result.
- If the high hand set by the player is lower in strength than his low hand, the bet is termed 'Foul' and the player loses his bet.
- If the player has placed the $1 bonus bet for the game, he will be paid according to the bonus payout table given below on his bonus bet. On winning a bonus bet, a message appears notifying the player of his Bonus Win.
